This weekend the kids and I went to their native Amsterdam to see our good old friends and do a protest against the war in Ukraine.
I projected my unfinished antiwar animation on the walls of the Hermitage in Amsterdam (the first and only foreign dependence of the famous Hermitage Museum in St.Petersburg, Russia). I stand with Ukraine and all the brave Russians who rise against Putin’s military invasion of Ukraine. I am Russian and I speak Russian to my children, but Putin is not my president. The Kremlin is not only robbing Ukrainians and Russians of their lives. The Kremlin is robbing all Russian people of a future.
This animation is a wip of a more detailed longer piece that I hope to publish in a few days in support of everyone uniting against this pointless bloodshed.

Сегодня вечером мы спроецировали мою незаконченную антивоенную анимацию на здание Эрмитажа в Амстердаме. Огромное спасибо моим детям Симону и Неве, и ещё моей дорогой подруге Линде и её сыну, которого тоже зовут Симон, за то, что они помогли мне провести эту акцию протеста против российского военного вторжения в Украину. Я – русская, и я говорю со своими детьми по-русски, но Путин – не мой президент! Кремль не только отнимает жизни украинцев и русских. Кремль отнимает будущее у всех россиян.
