This is what Simon begged me to read to him tonight: The Nature of Code by Daniel Shiffman. Daniel Shiffman is Simon’s hero. Simon completely owns his knowledge of English, programming and trigonometry to Daniel.

i doubt i will read the entire thing, but this is exactly the sort of book i enjoy looking through. i will return the favor with “computer science made simple” by v. anton spraul, courtesy of the internet archive: https://archive.org/download/ComputerScienceMadeSimple (pick a format that you like, i recommend pdf for this one.)
