Last Wednesday our wonderful chemistry teacher John Maas was here again to give his monthly workshop. This time we asked him to take electricity under the loupe, talk about what chemical processes are involved and why some elements are conductive and others aren’t. Simon built his own electric magnet, revised the whole copper-and-zinc electrodes theme as John and he went on torturing a lemon and tried other fun experiments.
